Techniques of Jiu-jitsu

Jiu-jitsu is a Martial Art and combat sport which is generally called an art of softness. It is a martial art that consists of grappling and striking techniques. The goal of jiu-jitsu is to gain a dominant position and use joint locks check holds to force an opponent to submit or knocked out depends on what is the method of submission.

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu

Brazilian jiu-jitsu is a form of self-defense that takes place almost entirely on the ground. Fighters use the positions that are like snake grabbling and crawling.

Gracie jiu-jitsu

The Gracie jiu-jitsu was created in Brazil, in the early part of this century. This technique was pioneered by Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Carlos Gracie, who studied traditional Japanese jiu-jitsu as a teenager under the great Japanese champion, Mitsuyo Maeda.
